Victoria Cavanaugh or as she was known by the Sith Lords Darth Varius
The female equivalent of Darth Abyssus, the cunning Darth Varius posed as a humble secretary in Charles Dathaine's office. In truth she was an ambitious and lethal warrior dedicated to the Sith Empire. Trained by the venerated master Darth Tholox, she ascended to the rank of Darth Master by killing him. When Darth Abyssus rose to prominence within the Sith Empire, she quickly saw that he would rule the Sith far better than his father did, or his rivals would, if given the chance.
Despite their close working relationship, Varius and Abyssus were never lovers, but Abyssus does admit to Darth Wyn (in the Episode "Darker Tides") that Varius did hold an attraction to him. Abyssus simply did not trust her enough to enter a non-working relationship. As he puts it:
"To say it simply, Lord Wyn, we would enter into a lustful relationship, in bed we would be strong, outside we would be stronger, fall in love. Marry perhaps? Then when I am at my weakest, when my love for her would blind me to the threat, she would strike and depose me. Why do I know this? Because that is what I would do."
Varius often used her beauty as a trap against her many foes who would underestimate her. She seduced two members of the fledgling Jedi order and another U.S. Senator. Varius was also a highly skilled swordsman and during her tenure on the show, only lost 3 battles. Also Varius accumulated a number of impressive kills during the course of the series, including Darth Vindus and Darth Wyn.
